We selected ten major metals processible for plating on resin.

For mat metal texture we used the same 10 materials as those used in Vol. 1.

HALF MIRROR

The samples represent 5 tones made by adjusting the density of aluminum-evaporated film.

METALLIC MOLDING

The variations of what we call metallic silver were formed by injection molding of the mixing material (acrylic).

PEARL MOLDING

The samples of so-called pearl, a distinctive color, by molding the mixture of pigment and mixing material (acrylic).

NATURAL RESIN

We have selected 10 kinds of resins that are commonly used in industrial products.

CLEAR BLACK

The samples for each of the two elastomers, represent 5 variations on hardness.

Three dimensional (3D) samples of corner R’s and dots.

• lt accurately produced the same R on both sides.
• A total of 188 different 3D radius samples, which are produced convexly and concavely from the molds, are included.

The long-awaited standard sample collection of metallic finish for industrial designers has finally been launched, including almost all kinds of so-called “silver finish”!

• Even for unpigmented silver finish, 31 kinds of samples are included.
• The sample collection with explanations of materials and treatment methods can be used as an instruction book.
• The samples are surface treated aluminium plates all uniquely developed and not available from other sources.
• The samples are placed neatly and beautifully on the mounting board individually and detachably.

The white colors here are all produced by painting.

• Value is 8.5 or over and Chroma is under 1.3.
• Neutral colors is divided with 3 gloss levels.
• The white colors here are all produced by urethane-painting.
• PET is used as a base material for the plates, which are painted.
• A mask is supplemented with for easy color comparisons!
